We collect information you provide directly: account details (name, email), content you create (worlds, characters, stories), and payment information (processed by Stripe). We also collect usage data: pages visited, features used, device information, and IP addresses.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to: (a) provide and improve the Service; (b) process payments; (c) send service-related communications; (d) analyze usage patterns to improve features; (e) prevent fraud and abuse. We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your creative content to train AI models.
3. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored on servers in the United States, encrypted at rest and in transit. We implement industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption, access controls, and regular security audits. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services: Stripe for payments, Vercel for hosting, and analytics tools for usage metrics. Each has its own privacy policy. We share only the minimum data necessary for each service to function.
5. Cookies
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We use analytics cookies to understand how the Service is used. You can disable non-essential cookies in your browser settings.
6. Your Rights

7. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. After account deletion, we remove your data within 30 days, except where legally required to retain it (e.g., billing records for tax purposes, retained for up to 7 years).

Koroverse is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us immediately.
9. International Transfers
If you access the Service from outside the United States, your data may be transferred to and processed in the United States. By using the Service, you consent to this transfer.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
